Help the HeroesWarwickshire Police show off their Focus ST260 for a heroic cause....
West Mercia Police put on an extravagant display on the 6th September to help support a great cause, Help the Heroes.The public were invited to their HQ at Hindlip Hall to see an array of Police machinery up close and personal; from helicopters, to performance pursuit vehicles, all were welcome to take a rare look at these frontline vehicles, and speak to the officers that get to drive / fly them on a daily basis.
Warwickshire Police visited us earlier in the year to upgrade their newest fleet addition to ST260 spec, and after 10,000 hassle-free miles are still very pleased with the Mountune Performance upgrade. The fact the cars' been so well looked after is also credit to its keepers, particularly when asked to appear in an otherwise Ford-free line-up like the one pictured below!
A great day was had by all, with Help the Heroes set to benefit from the occasion.

9th in PCOTYMountune Performance Fiesta finishes top 10 in Auto Express Performance Car Of The Year group test....
Auto Express brought together 20 of this year's best drivers' cars for
their toughest test of all - choosing Britain's greatest performance
car.
Each car was put through three timed laps on the infamous Anglesey race
track, rated on road performance and also on desirability, with the
Mountune Fiesta finishing 9th overall ahead of much more expensive
exotica.

The Ford Fiesta has come to play on the American roads. In the ultimate foreign exchange program, 100 agents will spend six months behind the wheel of their own Fiesta, lifestreaming their experiences, and completing monthly missions to show what the Fiesta is all about.Included in this foreign exchange trip with a difference is also two Mountune-equipped Fiesta's! The 140PS examples have so far seen several different uses but most notably as a pace car at the Mid-Ohio round of the Mustang series!
The cars, sporting the trademark yellow / black colour scheme complete with some additional touches, were also on display at the EAA Oshkosh show which attracted over half a million visitors at the end of July.

FastFord MagFastFord Magazine, the UK's biggest and best-selling Ford tuning magazine recently visited Mountune HQ to have their long-term Fiesta ST upgraded with the ST185 Mountune Performance upgrade....
Being the Editor of FastFord Magazine, Dan White should know his apples from his oranges when it comes to performance upgrades for the fun-packed Fiesta ST. Despite the plethora of options on the market for the 2-litre Duaratec engine, he opted for the Mountune upgrade - as detailed in the latest FastFord Magazine to hit the shelves.
The four-page article is the first detailing their project cars progress over an 18-month period although it seems as if the upgrade's already struck a chord, as Dan enthuses; "... it's bloody fantastic. It's a gem of an engine and the modifications really compliment each other. Mountune has developed a package with a genuine 185PS in a powerplant that is equally at home popping to Sainsbury's as it is taking on all comers at a track day. Do we recommend the conversion? You bet we do!"
