The Mountune Performance package for the Ford Focus RS consists of a larger tailored high-performance alloy intercooler, a new Mountune-designed high-flow airbox, high-flow exhaust downpipe, Mountune uprated fuel delivery module, and a revised engine calibration for the potent 2.5-litre Duratec RS engine.

Once upgraded power increases to 350PS at 5750rpm and torque is raised to 460Nm at 3,500rpm. The Mountune Performance Focus RS MP350 upgrade will also be fully TUV-approved, and available throughout Europe via the Mountune Performance RS Ford dealership network during 2010, as well as from Mountune directly.

The MP350 will produce performance returns of 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds, a 0.5 second improvement over the standard RS, and 0-100mph in 12.2 seconds, continuing on to a top speed of 165mph.

As ever, Mountune have vigorously tested the upgrades over an extended development period on British B roads and on numerous laps of the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife, as well as an exhaustive testing program at Ford's Dunton Technical Centre and European partner facilities. 

This culminates in the most thoroughly proven, robust and professional upgrade available for your Focus RS - full stop.

This upgrade can be fitted to any model year of Focus RS, new or used, and has a minimum 12 months/12,000-mile warranty on all parts fitted. Being engineered alongside Ford's Team RS, and used as the powertrain upgrade on Ford's own Focus RS500 limited edition vehicle, the Mountune Performance RS MP350 is the only performance upgrade that will not affect your manufacturer vehicle warranty.

As ever, our insurance partners Greenlight will also allow Mountune Focus RS customers to add an upgrade kit to their policy without any additional policy charges, making upgrading to a genuine 350PS experience that much more affordable.

Warranty Notice: To ensure compliance with the manufacturers warranty, vehicles must not have been previously modified. Previously modified cars can be fitted with the MP350 upgrade - but only at Mountune's premises. The vehicle warranty situation will be advised at that time.

MP350 FAQ's

Q. How do I get an insurance quote on the MP350, will it be recognised by the ABI like previous Mountune kits?
A. Yes, from the 20th May insurers will begin updating their database with the ABI listing 'Upgrade - 350' option which is the Mountune MP350 upgrade. We also have a deal in place with Greenlight.

Q. I don't have one of the 9 PRO dealers near to me, is there going to be any more?
A. Potentially yes, there will be more added if demand is in areas not capable of being covered by the existing RS dealers. Please register your interest with your local 'Mountune-approved' Ford dealer.

Q. I've already modified my Focus RS - I'd really like the Mountune kit though, is this still possible?
A. Yes, but only when fitted at Mountune's premises. The vehicle will not be updated on the usual database and no warranty will be given - as any non-approved parts have already voided that part of your manufacturers' warranty.

Q. I really like the exterior styling and wheels on the press photographs - are these available?
A. Yes, both the wheels and exterior pack are available to purchase through PRO dealers, and also directly from Mountune via the online store.

Q. Is it possible to purchase parts of the MP350 kit on there own?
A. Yes, the airbox is now available as a standalone, warranted part available from PRO dealers and from the online store. The rest of the kit has been extensively engineered as a complete package so it needs to be installed as such.
